Greetings!
We all know it is a busy time of year, but it is important to slow down, take a breath and enjoy a great cup of something hot! (You thought I was going to write "tea," didn't you?) As I write this, for instance, I am nursing a very satisfying cup of our tomato-basil soup sprinkled with cheese. Yum! I haven't even had tea yet!
It's a cool, crisp, rainy afternoon which always makes me feel lazy. I want to settle in with a good book by a toasty fire with popcorn and a glass of wine. (You thought "tea" again, didn't you?) I love great foods and beverages of many varieties. Tea is simply one of them. When I say "love" I mean that I really like to enjoy my food. I like white popcorn, not yellow. Lately, I've been trying Black Jewell popcorn. The taste is amazing!
I'll talk more about tea in January. January is Hot Tea Month. We will also celebrate our one year anniversary in January. We decided to wait since December is so packed with activities. Invitations will go out soon!
So, from our family to yours, we wish each of you peace, happiness and joy in the coming year. May the road rise to meet you and the wind be always at your back! (I'm half Irish and that is a line from one of my favorite Irish blessings.) Whatever you may celebrate, do it with gusto!
