Tea Trove @ The Omaha Farmers Market

Greetings!
Well, Steve and I just spent our third Saturday at the farmers market. If you've never gone, it is one of the best in town...actually, it is one of the best I've been to in the country. It's well organized, has variety, operates rain or shine, offers free entertainment and has our FABULOUS teas and tisanes! What more could you ask for at a farmers market? This morning I was up at 5 a.m. and at the store making tea by 6 a.m. Little Zain was up and not too happy about it! Luckily, he was able to settle back down before I left.

This morning we took Circus Peanut White, Tea Trove Toffee, Tea Trove Black, Gingerlicious and Fresh Phrase with us to market. All were received well. We sold out of our tins of Tea Trove Toffee. That is one of our newest blends. A few customers traveled to the store to get this one! Circus Peanut is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It is a wonderful, light combination of floral and lychee notes. Very smooth. The aroma reminds me of Circus Peanuts. So far, I've taken it to a Chamber event and the Market.

We opened our eBay store three weeks ago. All of our more than 100 teas are not available in the store, but you can e-mail me to see if we have something you want. Some items go on auction while others are simply listed in store inventory. Check often! You might see an item up for auction that you've had your eye on in our physical store. A customer did that just last week and won a beatiful floral painted, custom-designed, wood tea box. For those of you who are unfamiliar with our tea boxes, they are all different. They make a wonderful gift for weddings, anniverseries, executives, birthdays, etc.

If you see us at the market, be sure to stop by our table. We do sampling and sell just like in our store. It's also the ONLY other place you can find our T-cicles!

Stay cool...

Bel-Air Summerfest 2006

Okay, so it was pretty hot Saturday. And, everytime I stepped into the sun I thought I'd burst into flames, but and this is a BIG but, The Prairie Cats were great! The slide was awesome! The Lotus Dancers with Beduoin Star were nothing short of fabulous! All and all, the people who managed to brave the heat, had a really good time. About 30 people attended the drum circle. My youngest son managed to snag a drum with every intention of playing it. That just might have to get onto his birthday wish list.

If you just could not stand the thought of venturing outside, not to worry...we just might ask the ladies to return.
